My Story
Danielle Smith is a long-time resident of Clayton County. She is currently the Tax Commissioner of Clayton County, Georgia, and the business owner of 4MConsulting Solutions, LLC. She is dedicated, driven, determined, and very self-motivated. She possesses a passion for leadership and excels in executive-level management, team building, and mitigating employer challenges with innovative solutions, systems, and process improvements that have proven to increase both effectiveness and efficiency. In her time as Chief Deputy, she has transformed the office of the Tax Commissioner—implementing the largest statewide automated systems change in the Motor Vehicle Division (DRIVES), and is in the process of implementing a new automated customer flow system to add to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Tax Commissioner’s Office, this in addition to redesigning three of the five divisions of the office to aid in properly securing the office which brings in over half the county’s annual revenue.

Danielle is bilingual, proficient in American Sign Language and English, a former law student, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management & Organizational Development, and a Master of Public Administration, specializing in Public Policy and Governance. She is a leader by nature and has a desire not only to build people but to build her surrounding community for future generations. Danielle is a single mother of four children. Her oldest is a recent college graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University and a former player on their women’s basketball team.

She has a heart for teenagers and young adults and is the founder and ministry leader of Hands for H.I.M. (H4H), which is the Hearing-Impaired Ministry for Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral, as well as Down with Christ Sign Language Dance Team (DWC), submitted under the leadership of Bishop Dale C. Bronner. Danielle began teaching Sign Language classes for eager learners and interpreting for the hearingimpairedin1997. She has been choreographing and leading the Sign Language Dance ministry since its inception in 1999, and she continues to enjoy this ministry even today. Danielle is the former Board Chair of the Board of Directors of Rainbow House, Inc., and current Treasurer of the Board of Griffstar Community Foundation, both organizations serving children in need a cross the state of Georgia.
